About Me....
Hello! My name is Lindi Pesl. I am currently serving our Iola Elementary students as the elementary counselor. When students come to me feeling defeated or at the point of giving up; I see this not only as a challenge but an opportunity to show them that they are worth more than what they can see! 

My Role as Counselor

My role as an elementary school counselor is to implement a comprehensive school counseling program to support students through this important developmental stage in their lives.  This program provides education prevention and intervention activities that are implemented throughout each school year. I will assist to educate all students in their academic skills, behaviors, career exploration, and social/emotional development.  The Iola Elementary Counselor is integrated in the overall educational program.  I will strive to provide a comprehensive program that engages all students; as well as includes leadership, advocacy, and collaboration between stakeholders to develop student’s success.  It is my job to collaborate with teachers and parents on early identification and intervention of children’s academics or social and emotional behaviors.  Our program hopes to offer a positive impact on all students to provide them with the best success in their educational careers.
